The 9 rue Commines building, the courtyard, the elevator, and the original tomettes (tiles) on each landing.     Our apartment is in a quiet residential building filled primarily with working or retired French residents. Please respect their home as well as ours. The apartment will be cleaned before your arrival time, but we expect you to keep it in good order, wash your own dishes, and leave it in the same neat and clean condition you found it. Don't worry if you break a glass. It happens and that's all that usually happens.   However, any larger damage or cleaning will be your responsibility, which will be deducted from your security deposit or beyond, if necessary. Check-in: 2 p.m. Check-out: 11 a.m. (If your plane arrives in the early morning, you could likely arrive at rue Commines in the late morning. Our departing guests usually don't mind if you drop off your bags, then take a walk or sit at a sidewalk café until the apartment is ready for you.)   Minimum rental age is 25. No children under 10 years old are allowed, except in special cases. No smoking. No pets.
